希望不是足迹的。。。。
Three men aged in their 60s will receive fines in excess of $1,500 following a call to our 24-hour reporting line 13FISH (133474).
Fisheries Officers attended a section of the Patterson Lakes that the men were accessing through private property.
The men, from Box Hill South, Wantirna South and Hampton Park were allegedly found in possession of 42 bream between them, of which 11 were allegedly less than the minimum legal size of 28cm.
The catch limit for bream is 10 per person per day.
Four infringement notices and two official warnings will be issued for offences including (a) take or possess fish less than the minimum size and (b) take or possess more fish than the catch limit.
Officers seized of the 33 bream on the spot.
Officers have the power to seize the entire catch from an individual if more than 5% of the catch is undersize. This power was enforced against two of the men involved.
A court may impose fines of up to $3,100 and suspend fishing privileges for people taking undersize fish or more than the catch limit. Fishing equipment, and in serious cases boats and vehicles, may be forfeited.
People are encouraged to call 13FISH to report illegal fishing anywhere in Victoria, anytime. In circumstances where officers can't respond to a call, the information provided is valuable and helps us plan future patrols and operations. |
