奶奶的,eBay真是狗屎,说有个 eBay Purchase Protection Claim ,但要满足它的条件才退款给买家,原信如下:Dear eBay Member,
I have been assigned as the Adjuster for your Purchase Protection Claim
regarding item number xxxxxx. Your claim has been assigned Claim
Number xxxxxxx.
In order to complete your claim submission, additional documentation is
required. The required documentation described below must be received
before we can begin processing your claim.
1) Proof of Payment
If payment was made using a cheque or money order, please send a copy of
the cashed payment. You can contact your bank or the establishment the
money order was purchased through if needed to request a copy of the
front and back of the cashed cheque or money order.
If payment was sent via an online Payment Service such as PayPal, you
can simply print out and submit a copy of the online records for the
payment. Please note that we are not able to approve additional
coverage through eBay if a claim has already been paid by PayPal. For
transactions that were paid using PayPal, along with the required proof
of payment, you must include documentation showing that you were denied
coverage by PayPal.
Deposit receipts, credit card or bank statements, or other bank
documentation or records relating to the payment may also be acceptable.
If you paid with a credit card (either directly or through an online
payment service other than PayPal), proof of denial of reimbursement
through the credit card company is also required. This will typically be
in the form of a letter from your credit card issuer.
2) Appraisal of the Received Item
(Note: An appraisal is not required if the merchandise has already been
returned to the seller or if no merchandise was ever received)
The Appraisal must be based on an independent authenticator's physical
inspection. Please take the item and a copy of the item listing to a
store or neutral third party that specializes in the product and have
them determine the value and condition of the item. Have them write
their response on store letterhead. We will also need the name and phone
number of the person who does the evaluation for verification purposes.
3) PayPal Payment Details
If your claim is approved, your claim payment will be issued through
PayPal. If you do not already have a PayPal account, you can register
an account at www.paypal.com.au. In order to facilitate payment
through PayPal, we need you to specify the email address the payment
should be sent to. This would be the email address you used to register
the PayPal account.

Please fill in all of the details listed above and include them when you
submit the other required claim documentation. Please fax the required
documentation to the Australian fax number listed below within the next
14 days.

documentation. Please allow 7 days for a response once you have faxed
the required documentation.

attachments.
Upon receipt of the required documentation within the requested time
frame, we will begin processing of your claim. Please be aware that we
must receive this documentation within the next 14 days. If the
necessary documentation is not received by the eBay Claims
Administration by Wednesday, March 14, 2007, we will be forced to close
this claim.
As a reminder, the maximum coverage under eBay's Standard Purchase
Protection Program is AU$400.00 minus AU$25.00 (to cover processing
costs). Please be aware that additional charges such as shipping and
handling, and/or escrow fees are not covered under this program.

- 对于第1条,付款的证据不是很明显吗? 1)对方给我寄了东西(难道有卖家没收款就发货的?) , 2)eBay的页面上,卖家已经注明"货款收到". 这2条还不够,还要要求买家提供付款证据. 由于这一点还可以满足,我先不理它.
- 主要是第2条:Appraisal of the Received Item
我买的是PDA,有型号的,任何人一查网上就知道不同型号的PDA有不同的配制.我买的才160元,要别人出一个证明可能花掉不止160元的费用.这要求EBAY不是明摆着想说:你想要补偿,好,先花一笔,俺在补给你...............
- 如果买的是奔池/宝马,对方给你开来是三流的差车. 也答应退款,但也要做"不同的证明"

I just wonder if i don't need a proof of an Appraisal of the Received Item, the reason is:-
The item is a HP iPAQ which has a model, anyone can check from the internet what's the different between these two different model iPAQs, i just claim $160.00 back but i may pay more than $160 to ask some one to make me an Appraisal of the Received Item, more over, i have no time and don't know where to make an.Appraisal of the Received Item.
- The model which the seller sold in the auction was HP iPAQ aaaa
- The model which i have received is HP iPAQ bbbb
- you can easy to know what's different from them if you search with the models form GOOGLE,or your eBay IT may easy to know that.
- If eBay agree to pay the cost of making an Appraisal of the Received Item, i will be very happy try to ask someone to do that.

估计我不花钱做"认证".EBAY是不会付这笔赔偿的. EABY 的条款明显就是不合理的,不知道到是能不能跟Fair trading 投诉EBAY?
