“Hornsby 公立小学（2-3个）的总体水平较高，工薪阶层不读私校可以放心上公校。
小学领军公校如下：
Top 150 Primary Schools in NSW
#10 Hornsby North Public School
#31 Waitara Public School (OC)
#119 Hornsby South Public Schoo
私校有Barker，一次性解决生男生女选私校的问题。不读Barker的话，Knox和Abb也很有名。
接着上中学，两所精英Hornsby Girls High和Normanhurst Boys High School又解决了男娃女娃的问题。上不了精英那就继续混校Barker,完美!
补充：
1.小学最强性价比私校Wahroonga Prep还有成绩最优教会学校Loreto Normanhurst.
2. Hornsby的教育资源还有一个隐形福利：Gosford High，精英混校，180多分就可以上。每天早上Hornsby都有直达列车，基本上华人小孩都考得上，每年Hornsby都有几十个小孩去那里。”

For inner-city devotees, Hornsby might seem awfully far away, but the suburb has proven itself to be a liveability champion. With several hospitals, a Westfield and a train station, Hornsby has very good scores for retail, cafes and employment. An escape to the bush is within reach too, with several nature trails nearby. Hornsby excels when it comes to tree cover and open space, but its weaknesses include congestion.

Head 25 kilometres north of the city and you’ll find Hornsby, which receives very good scores for telecommunications coverage, train services, tree cover, cafes and restaurants. Its lowest ratings are for crime and buses, and the suburb outperforms Hornsby Heights on everything except leafiness, buses, crime, open spaces and main road congestion.

Summary: Large enough to almost be considered a self-contained town at this point, Hornsby is one of the most complete suburbs in Sydney when it comes to amenities. It’s lacking absolutely nothing in terms of services and shopping – both big and small-scale – and brings with it solid public transport connectivity too. A huge array of parks, playgrounds, schools and childcare add to this to make it perhaps the most family-friendly suburb in Sydney at good value to boot. Its only real negatives are distance, and a lack of nightlife.
