是不是随便找个验血的中心， 中心会把收集的血样送到统一的检验中心进行检验？ 我因为刚好要做个血液检查，想在一家搞定。
账单都是后来通过邮寄收到的吗？

You are right. All the pathologies (collection centers) can take blood and send the blood to the special lab got Down's syndrome testing. In Victoria it is VCGS (Victoria Cytogenetic Service) located at the Royal Children Hospital.

The timing of the test is very important (to get correct result)
The best time for blood test is during the 10th week of pregnancy.
The ultrasound must be done between 11 weeks 3 days and 13 weeks 6 days (can not calculate Down's syndrome risk if the ultrasound is done too early or too late).

So, it is ideal to book your ultrasound around 12 and half week and have your blood taken about 10 days before your ultrasound.

The ultrasound is to measure the size of the baby (CRL- about 6-8 cm)and nuchal translucency (a fat pad behind the baby's neck). The nuchal translucency is measured abround 2 mm only (thiner is better). This is a very important reading for Down's syndrome risk calculation and the accuracy depends on the experience of the person who does the scan. Your GP usually send you to a bulk billing radiology; in contrast, your private obstetrician will send you to an obstetric ultrasound specialist for the scan. The later costs much more but the result can be trusted.

那 我能不能请gp在我11周的时候给我查血告诉她是用于唐式？
总之最后b超的结果都是返回到gp的。

Your GP will request "T1 MSS - First trimester maternal serum screening". The blood will be sent to the lab and tested for PAPPA and HCG, the result will be stored in their computer.  After your ultrasound, the doctor will send the ultrasound reading CRL and NT together with your weight to the lab. The computer will calculate your baby's risk for Down's syndrom.  The result will be sent to the ultrasound doctor and the referral doctor (your GP or obstetrician). Your doctor usually get the result within one hour after scan.  If you have your ultrasound at a bulk billing radiology, you need to go back to your GP for the result.  If you have the scan at the obstetric ultrasound, you can wait for the result there.
