面试behaviour问题总结（3楼跟新）

面试是一门艺术， 知识， 经验， 语言， 发挥多方面的结合才能在短短的时间里使你在众多的面试者中脱颖而出。本人多年以来， 换工频繁， 深知面试甘苦。在这里总结一些常见的behaviour question， 希望能帮助广大新老移民， 找到理想的工作。
问题列表：
1.Tell me about yourself.
2.What is your next five years target?
3.What is your greatest weakness?
4.What is your greatest strength?
5.How do you handle conflict?

1.Tell me about yourself.
通常要包括几个要点： 简述本人背景和经验、专长， 简述现在的你工作、项目，等等。
一定要联系上这个职位的需求，比如申请BA要突出你的项目分析、协调经验。 sell what the buyer is buying。可以简单提一下你的成绩（和这个职位的需求有关的）。
通常这是第一个问题，所以不要太夸张，low key一点，客观的叙述即可。我通常会把回答控制在3 到4 分钟之内。
这是常见问题，一定要烂熟于心，要多练习，最好练到自然的张口及出。其实面试时，面试者看重的很多时候不是回答本身，他是在观察你的反应，你的 poise, style of delivery, and communication ability，从中判断你的个性是否符合这个职位，或是否fit into the culture of the company/team. 因为英文不是我们的母语， 准备好答案可以使你更自信的回答，给人一个好的开始印象。这个问题即使没有问到，你准备的答案也可以用在回答别的问题。
可以这样开始“ I am a software test manager with over six years experience in software quality assurance in enterprise level projects within telecommunication, government and finance sectors.  My past experiences have been in ｘｘｘ. Both aspects have prepared me well for this career ．．．＂

2.What is your next five years target?

这个问题是我遇到的最常见问题，几乎每次必问。就像谈年爱时，女方一定会问以后咱们生几个娃？当然每年一个是错误的答案，一个不要也多半不行。正确的答案是，先搞清楚LD想要几个，然后就答几个。
同样的是，问这个问题，面试者的目的是什么？通常的目的是面试者想知道你对自己的评价 - how you see yourself  and how do you see you in the job.许多面试者是管理背景的，他们习惯于goal-setting,KPI....,所以好的回答要包括以下要点：
a)你的计划目标必须是具体可行的。Employers generally prefer candidates who think in terms of the future and who are capable of setting realistic goals
b)要把你的目标和这个职位以及公司联系起来。比如申请一个programmer 的职位， 如果公司是做保险的，你可以说你plan to be specialise in insurance and finance area, would like to gain deep domain knowledge in this area. blah blah blah
除了工作上的目标，你也可以简单提一下个人、家庭甚至精神上的追求。showing you are a well-balanced individual with your values in the right order。当然这要因时因面试者而定。
一个例子是”I started out in my profession as a junior xxx while I completed my college studies during the evenings. My short-term objectives are to graduate from the ａｂｃProgram in next two years and begin developing a xyz. In five years, I feel I will have continued to learn, to grow into a position of more responsibility and will have made a significant contribution to the organization. blah blah .....

3.What is your greatest weakness?
这是一个无厘头的问题，但是还是偶尔会出现。要是没有准备，会被搞得措手不及。
一次去面试之前，超热心的中介给俺“战前动员”，说这家可能会问这个问题，他的建议是a positive trait disguised as a weakness。比如说你要真诚的望着对方的眼睛，告诉他你是个工作狂或者是个完美主义者。
我认为这样的回答不好，面试是一场游戏，但假戏要真做，这样的回答只会让人觉得你不诚实。 好的回答因该是找一个真的，与工作关系不大的，无关紧要的弱点，并且同时强调说明你已经或正在改变这个弱点。

4.What is your greatest strength?
这是个比较常出现的问题,也是个好问题。因为它给了你展现自己优点的最好机会。如果说在回答第一个问题时要低调一点的话，现在就要高调一点。要把自己技术上、个性上和这个职位有关的优点充分的表达出来。
事先可以列出一份清单，把自己的成绩优点123通通写下。然后，根据这个职位uncover your interviewer's greatest wants and needs，选择那些最相关的points.
一些常见的回答如下：
self-motivation,
initiative,
ability to work with a team
Honesty...integrity...a decent human being
Dedication...willingness to walk the extra mile to achieve excellence
Definiteness of purpose...clear goals.

如果能配以成功的例子证明，效果就更好了。

5.How do you handle conflict?

这一题的关键是把题目具体化。矛盾和冲突有很多种：和客户的冲突，和同事的矛盾，甚至和规章制度的冲突。。
站在面试者的角度去想，联系到具体职位的要求，才能回答到重点上。
比如申请技术职位，就要具体到team 内部的矛盾处理。
可以这样开始： In xxx development environment, everyone is under stress and not everything will run smoothly at all the time. From my pass experience, I have learned how to handle confilct. When there is a conflict I usually try to determine the source of the problem and see if it can be solved. I might need to consult other members of the team or....
接着可以举一个具体的例子，不要忘了强调皆大欢喜的结尾。

6.Describe a situation where others you were working with on a project disagreed with your ideas. What did you do?

典型的“举例说明”题。这种问题，答的好的话，可以有非常好的效果。我曾经在回答这种问题是谈到对方感兴趣的项目，结果变成了互相讨论，谈的投机，有种惺惺相惜之感。
有声请过政府工的筒子可能知道，有一个名字叫“star" framework.
Situation        What was the situation of the example?
Task        What tasks were involved?
Activities        What activities did you do?
Results        What happened as a result – was your    work approved, implemented, successful?
我觉得这是个很好的结构，在准备时，可以用来比较一下，看看这些elements都齐了没有。
或者更简单一点：Situation Action Result
一个例子：
I was on a project team for abc....., the team encounted a cirtial issue ........., and everyone but me was leaning toward an idea that would be easy, but blahblah.....
I suggested another idea which is xxxxx（此处删去999字）In the end, my idea is used to solve the problem and the team became a close team, and ended up putting a lot of hard work into the project.
The project got highly positive feedback from client（此处删去999字）
All the team members ended up feeling very proud of the result, and they thanked me for the idea
