About CitiPower & Powercor:
CitiPower and Powercor Australia are electricity distributors and supply power to more than one million Victorians. We own and manage the poles, wires, meters and related infrastructure that deliver electricity to homes and businesses within Melbourne’s CBD, its suburbs and across central and western Victoria.
About the Role:
As an integral member of the IT Assets and Desktop team, you will be the intermediary in understanding the businesses requirements and negotiating best outcome solutions, while managing IT assets through all aspects of their life cycle.
This role is for up to 12 months to cover a maternity leave.
Key duties and responsibilities:
Maintain the quality of data for software licensing, compliance, maintenance renewals and upgrades
Facilitate the IT hardware asset management process and maintain the quality of data of inventory
Continuously improve the Asset Management system to support compliance audits and other projects
Develop and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external Stakeholders
Prepare detailed reports for management on key business purchasing
Required skills and experience:
VCE or Tafe equivalent in IT preferred
Proven experience in a similar IT, Administration or Customer Service focused role
Working knowledge of software licensing structure and conditions
Good knowledge of IT Hardware and Software terminology and components
