索菲=穆特

LG原来也在读土木结构方面的phd，但是导师没有项目，连做个实验都拖拖拉拉的。后来就果断弃读了。。。现在从事的行业算是建筑业的边缘行业，顺便也在自学IT搞搞android开发。说实话，澳洲大量需要的还是builder而不是engineer。LZ还是继续科研以后就留校做做professor吧~

对，一个授课一个研究，两个master文凭。phd读了大半年就不读了。。。

10几年前来的时候想过读博，rmit我的专业所有老师中连个亚洲人都没有，更不要说华人，基本不是英美，就是本地土产
果断放弃
感觉出了IT类在大学里搞学术的还有些规模，其他能在学术方面混的都是牛人

十年后 澳洲已经有好多华人导师phd了

然而谈到找工作  还是然并卵  只有倒退

你怎么知道我读什么？到现在也没有华人老师，读完博的华人还在苦逼着生存呢

If you think that those whites occupying all academic positions in Australian universities are niuren, how come they don't produce much like those in the USA? The short answer is they are just ordinary people with ordinary intelligence, but have extraordinary gaming skills to enrich their small circle at the expense of national/international competitiveness. Unfortunately, this game cannot go on forever, and the truth will come out sooner rather than later.

就我能接触到的rmit， mel uni，学术内斗比国内还表面化 还夸张，形式不同而已。国内多数涉及到钱，这里是权
米国是否这样就不知道了，反正我的导师是从哥大被挤走的
搞学术有不同科目，偏文艺史学方面的更严重，毕竟没有太多量化的东西
