下午一个中介打电话过来,说了我的工作经历, 然后说我会不会NORTEL, 我心想,不就那些路由器,交换机, PASSPORT8600/ ASN/BCN什么之类的.以前单位也有,我懒得去理它们, 要配肯定会啦,就说会啦.
那姑娘很高兴,说有一个雇主, 六个月的CONTRACTOR. 我也很高兴,行啊, 我什么都做. 要她把详细情况发过来,她也约了我周一上午面试. 我想, 这下又有事忙了, 赶紧学习一下北电啊,等收了邮件,我要晕倒了.

• Chatswood Location
The role of Network Engineer requires extensive attention to detail and accuracy due to the interactions with external customers and respective internal Optus workgroups and various lines of business sales channels to liaise valuable information critical to deliver customer services.
You will develop and implement Customer translation data for various Optus network elements such as Lucent DSL Provisioning platform, Nortel DMS 100/200, Nortel IN, and Alcatel ATM NMS to ensure that Optus BNS/BNP services are delivered on time.
This role will incorporate ensuring On Time Performance within forecast order volumes are sustained; quality of work is within Key Performance Indicators; escalating any issues impacting service delivery; highlighting issues to respective workgroups; monitoring ordering as well as developing and maintaining rapport with workgroups.
Other challenges of the role will include understanding the various network elements and network configurations within the Optus network; being conversant with the workflows, databases and procedures within network and customer provisioning; complying with the order due dates to maintain a high quality of service and assisting in the development of provisioning models.
To be successful in this role ideally you will have:
Essential:
• Extensive experience in digital switching systems such as DMS switch translation, PABX or IP Voice Gateway configuration;
• Experience in data communications, protocols and CCITT standards;
• Skilled in the use of PC and Macintosh using Word, Excel, FileMaker Pro, Access and Powerpoint with a high degree of computer literacy;
Desirable:
• Degree/Diploma in relevant discipline or equivalent experience;
• Knowledge, experience and understanding of TCP/IP;
• Knowledge of multiple technology platforms such as CISCO Routers, Newbridge Frame Relay and ATM;

不过呢,那个小姑娘挺是热情, 如果有人适合这个职位,赶紧同她联系.我就不想去了,节约一点路费吧.
