1. Cool
Cool原指温度有点低,稍微有点冷。随着语言变迁,现在也可以指事情酷毙了,真棒,人很酷。
A: I am going to Europe in Apr for two weeks stay over there.
B: It's cool. I am so jealous about it.
A: Finally I bought a plunger from e-bay. Guess what. It's only 2 bucks.
B: Cool. It's so cheap and I really want to buy one, too.
A: Socceroos beat Saudi 4:2 last night.
B: Cool. I didn't have time to watch it, but I will watch the highlights tonight.
A: It's so hot outside. Let's go in.
B: Yes, it's cool inside.
A: I don't speak a word of Chinese and teach me how to speak cool in Chinese, please?
B: 酷毙了。
A: What do you think about Jeremy Lin?
B: Oh, he's so cool and will be a great basketballer.
2. Good on you 你真好,可以用于反讽
A: I processed the invoices on your desk as you were away yesterday and I am hoping you don't mind.
B: Of course not. Good on you. I owe you a favour, beauty.
A: God, I forgot to buy my wife a birthday gift.
B: Good on you. 说的时候,注意眼神使用,要表达出一种戏谑。
3. 不拉不拉不拉 太多了太长了,你懒得说那些不重要的部分
A: Hi guys, please turn to page 111 and read the first paragraph. Tom fell love with Jessica on the first day they met. They were a perfect pair in the world blah blah blah.My question is when Tom fell love with Jessica?
老师读了111页的第一段落的开始比较重要的地方,后面的内容用blah blah blah省略了,然后直接切入她的问题。
我先吃饭了
