这所拟建中的、位于Monash大学Clayton分校校园内的精英高中并不属于维州两所新的男女生混合精英中学之一。那是另外一所偏重理工科的精英学校（VICTORIA is set to get its first maths, science and technology school)



The new schools are to open in 2010. One will be based in North Melbourne, while the other will be built at a yet-to-be-announced site in the outer east.

As The Age reported this week, plans are also in train for a $20 million maths, science and technology school for year 10 to year 12 students at Monash University's Clayton campus. The school will be the first of its kind for Victoria.

The DEECD recently invited public comment on operational issues concerning the  establishment of two new selective entry academic schools.   The Government has committed to the establishment of two new selective entry schools – one in North Melbourne and one in the outer eastern growth corridor of Melbourne. These two new schools will be co-educational schools that will cater for students in Years 9‑12.

Sir John Monash Science School – The $20 million John Monash Science School,for up to 650 Year 10 to Year 12 students — will open in 2010 and be built on Monash University's Clayton campus.

问题“是住得近一点”的学生有几个考得上？每个中学进入精英学校有没有名额限制？。。。。。。

不了解更多的情况就断定“周边的房子就会贵起来，这是毫无疑问的”是不是为时尚早了呢？


看看今天老墨帖的这个最新的消息吧，这所把Rinwood Secondary College改建成的精英中学到底对住在周边校区内的学生有没有影响？会是好的影响，还是不好的影响？。。。
