我觉得有个治治 bad behavior 解决方案。把他们强制送军训，1个月为一个疗程，通过考核才能回家。整个过程由监护人出钱。如果监护人负担不起，则罚监护人参加社区劳动。否则太无法无天了，连警察都拿他们没办法。

Yes you did. Yes people who has to go to potentially dangerous places should have access to weapons for self defense.

OK, OK, that's it, I've said enough.

Sincerely, God forbid anyone here to ever run into what Dr. Cao had to face. However if that ever happened, I want to be able to have weapons for self defense, and I'll take some of the scumbags down to hell with me if I can't take them all.

And the nice and civilized people here can calmly ask these thugs to beat you to death in a beautiful way; don't mess with your face or your new suit; maybe allow you to take it off then put it back on to you after you're finished. I'm sure they'll cooperate. After all, they're just lovely teenagers.

I thought we are looking at a case of an innocent man being beaten to (near) death for NO REASON, by people with NO HEART, and the legal system is a JOKE in dealing with this kind of case. Strangely, it seems that in the mind of some people here, the defenseless still doesn't deserve to get any help in defending himself. Dr. Zhang may walk through the park tomorrow and get beaten to death by the same gang, and no, he doesn't deserve to defend himself. No way. Fucking evil and uncivilized to even think about that.

I hate to repeat myself, but here I say it again, and you are welcome to prove me wrong with the following 2 arguments:

1. Gun control in Australia made it almost impossible for law-abiding citizens to own guns, but underworld figures still have close to free access to guns. In another word, Gun control disabled good people's access to firearm while don't really affect the criminal's access to firearm.

2. There are many countries in the world where owning a gun is legal, but shooting incidents still rarely happen. Think Canada. Think Switzerland. If they can do that, why can't we? USA is a minority case, not majority case among these countries.

If you prove any of these 2 points wrong, well, maybe there are merits in gun control. However I believe these points do stand.

My solution? Run, and run fast  

Seriouly, gov should tighten the law, let those thugs know this kind of behaviour will face very serious consequences. You can not beat someone and walk away. Not that easy. The force will hunt you down no matter what it takes. A crime like this will deserve 20 years of jail, at least.

I feel the law in OZ shows too much mercy to criminals. Merdured 7 innocent poeple and will can watch TV in cell and enjoy free meals?? No fuckin way. (Google Ivan Milat)
