To all staff
We have reviewed security and staff will now be free to leave the building if they have a need to do so, subject to the access procedures currently in place by building security.
You may decide to proceed home if you wish.
If you are proceeding home you should make inquiries about available transport options as some transport services are disrupted.
Safety and Security further advise as follows:
Police operation at #MartinPlace: Map of affected traffic area taken from Live Traffic NSW.
All southbound traffic travelling over the #Sydney Harbour Bridge is being diverted via the Western Distributor. There is no access to the Cahill Expressway, York St, or Harbour St.
There is no access for northbound traffic to the Cahill Expressway. All motorists are being diverted into the Sydney Harbour Tunnel. Northbound motorists on the Western Distributor cannot access King ...St.
The Sydney Harbour Tunnel remains open.
Buses in the Sydney CBD are diverting due to a police operation. Passengers are advised to avoid the Sydney CBD or expect extensive delays.
Buses are following the direction of police on site and may change their route at short notice.
Additionally, buses travelling to the city across the Sydney Harbour Bridge are terminating at North Sydney, buses travelling citybound across the Anzac Bridge are terminating at the Queen Victoria Building, except route 501, it is terminating at Central, and buses entering the city from the Eastern Suburbs are also terminating at Central.
Various road closures are in place and more may occur at short notice.
