One Nation had a major impact on Australian politics. The primary effect at both state and federal levels was to split the conservative vote and threaten the National Party's support base.

One Nation became subject to a political campaign by Abbott, who established a trust fund called "Australians for Honest Politics Trust" to help bankroll civil court cases against the Party (see Tony Abbott#Action against the One Nation party). He was also accused of offering funds to One Nation dissident Terry Sharples to support his court battle against the party. Pauline的票源主要就是来自于联盟党中的National Party的支持者. One Nation的壮大严重影响了联盟党的根基。

这也是为啥联盟党的Abbott当时要搞掉Pauline的主要原因。

我在HOWARD时代生活了10年，天天看电视和报纸新闻， 我咋不知道你讲的“霍华德的自党，对反土著、反亚的言论”？？？？？？？？？？

这还是因为工党极左的政策提供了韩森丰富的蛊惑人心的口实。就如同今天的船民政策给了韩森大量东山再起的弹药一样。

如果摆在今天，霍让韩大肆抨击外来船民，同样会应者云集，信不信。

最后还是回到当年，口说无凭，请你提供韩当年“反土反亚”言论的资料，特别是“反亚”的部分，大家可以研读一下，所谓知己知彼百战不殆。

和我说的并不矛盾，韩党极右派借力打力。就如同《青梅煮酒》之后，刘备借曹操的兵以外出平乱之名自立门户，曹操要不要剿灭之？刘备起初巴结曹操，但实际是曹操的死敌而已。

极右极左向来一线之隔。这些极右分子原本是垂涎于工党福利的极左分子，但当土著亚裔一个福利比他们多、一个挣钱比他们多时，就摇身一变成为排斥少数族裔的极右了。

用左派的问题为种族主义辩解，就像强盗大街上抢你，你说强盗抢你是因为你露富了，所以强盗抢你是可以理解的，也不必追究了。当然任何事情都有原因，但是抢劫就是抢劫，露富不是罪，抢劫是罪。
