Brian Eno's vision lights up a Sydney Opera House
from Daily Telegraph
CRISP white sails marking the entrance to Sydney Harbour was the vision of architect Joern Utzon. Brian Eno's concept for the Sydney Opera house is even more vivid.
A final test run of the music mastermind's spectacular light show last night offered a sneak peak of what Sydney-siders can expect when the three-week Vivid festival launches tonight.

Drenching the sails in vivid colour, the sequence of organic shapes and patterns will morph and blend in a moving painting of light.
Running from 5pm until 1am each night for the next 20 days, the spectacular light show is one component of the Sydney Opera House's Luminous event - the cornerstone of the three-week Vivid festival.
Producer, artist and pioneer of ambient sound, Eno was commissioned by Events NSW to curate the inaugural event, which will bring new emerging and established artists together to explore "'music, light and ideas".
The Vivid festival will culminate in a marathon concert on Sunday, June 14.
