2013 Telstra Graduate applications open
1 March 2012
We strengthened the diversity of our workforce recently with 219 graduates who speak 28 different languages between them commencing in the Telstra Graduate Program across 15 lines of business.
We are now looking for another intake of high performing graduates who are striving for excellence by being part of one of Australia’s largest graduate programs. Applications for the 2013 Telstra Graduate program are now open and close on 9 April. Applications can be submitted via Option City. (http://www.optioncity.com.au/index.html)
As one of Australia’s best known brands, employing nearly 40,000 people around the world, investing more than $104 million in learning and development in the last year, Telstra is the organisation that can launch careers.
Current graduates are the best advocates for our program and they recently ranked the Telstra Graduate program number two in the IT and telecommunications sector for graduate candidate satisfaction, second only to Google, according to the annual Australian Association of Graduate Employers candidate survey.
Telstra’s graduate program runs for 18 months with the opportunity to rotate across different areas in Telstra. This gives our graduates the opportunity to explore the dynamic company that Telstra is, and to work out which area they connect to most. The program also offers structured development sessions in key areas of leadership.
If you know of family or friends who have graduated recently, or have recently graduated yourself then visit Option City where you will find everything you need to know about the Telstra Graduate Program.
2012 intake
Telstra’s 2012 graduates experienced their first taste of Telstra recently at the induction days held in Melbourne and Sydney. Not only did they get to meet their fellow graduates, find out what they can expect from the program and set some personal goals, they also had the opportunity to hear from some of our senior leaders including Gordon Ballantyne, and Brendon Riley. The graduates then participated in line of business specific induction in their chosen business units, helping to set them up for success as they commence their careers at Telstra.
