今天收到 Jillian Skinner 的期刊,真的喜欢她,实干派,做了好多工作,尤其在医疗和教育方面。
North Shore 就有福了,学校都拿到了额外拨款,用于学校基础建设和老师培训。下面是具体内容:
Local schools to benefit from extra funding for maintenance and training
Providing a positive learning environment is a critical part of a successful education for young people. Since coming into office the NSW Government has focused on empowering local school communities and improving school facilities.
In the 2012/13 Budget the NSW Government has delivered on its promise to provide much needed funding to schools across the community to help meet the backlog in maintenance and upgrades. The $40 million Public School Upgrade Program enables schools to renovate facilities in poor condition, and the $20 million Extra Minor Maintenance Budget boosts funding to all schools for basic maintenance. Capital expenditure on school infrastructure across NSW will be $447 million in 2012-13.
Funds have also been allocated to provide training and skill development for general assistants who make an important contribution to the school community.
I'm thrilled that a number of schools across the North Shore electorate will benefit from this funding including:
