This position will involve:
Developing methods for ongoing assessment of database performance and issue identification
Lead processes to ensure database infrastructure is aligned with business requirements
Maintenance of database systems, ensuring implementation and configuration meet requirements
Design and manage Disaster Recovery Plan for database systems
Monitor database performance and usage
Complete daily health checks of SAP systems
Review and apply SAP updates
Skills and attributes:
Problem solving capabilities
Data analysis skills and attention to detail
Leadership and organisational skills
Troubleshooting skills
Tertiary qualification in Computer Science
SQL Server 2008
SAP Basis (develop)
Desirable:
Minimum 5 years of MS SQL DBA experience
Minimum 2 years experience in a developer role (T-SQL)
Knowledge of MS SQL technologies (SSRS, SSIS, SSAS)
Project work experience
Salary is negotiable dependant on experience
Opportunity for exposure to SAP, BI and Datawarehousing
