Punter puts $200k on Labor to win election A Darwin-based betting agency says it has taken a $200,000 bet on Labor to win the federal election. Sportingbet's director of bookmaking, Brad Smythe, says it is the biggest wager the company has struck this election. He says Sportingbet is now pushing upwards of $1 million in wagers on the election. "I can tell you that this morning Sportingbet struck a bet of $200,000 at $1.50 on Labor to take out the federal election," he said. "So obviously a very confident punter there." He says 60 per cent of the money wagered so far has been on Labor, with 40 per cent on the Coalition. 一家达尔文的博彩机构说,他们收到一笔二十万的下注,押工党将赢得大选。 |
