I’ve checked the try shoot calendar and the times that we have available are (each time slot can accommodate 2 people unless otherwise stated); Pistol Friday 7 February 6.30pm, 7.30pm, 8.30pm Sunday 9 February 1030am, 1130am, 1.30pm (1 person only), 2.30pm Friday 14 February 6.30pm , 730pm, 830pm Friday 21 February 6.30.pm, 730pm, 830pm Saturday 22 February 1.30pm 2.30pm 4pm 5pm Friday 28 February 630pm 730pm 830pm Rifle Sunday 9 February 10.30am 11.30am 1.30pm 2.30pm Should any of these times be convenient for you I would highly recommend booking ASAP as time slots do fill very quickly and pre-booking is essential. Each session runs for approximately one hour and is conducted on a basis of two shooters only at a time per instructor. For groups of more than 2 people, consecutive time slots would need to be booked. For example, for groups of 3 or 4 people, 2 consecutive time slots would need to be booked but for groups of 5 or 6 people, 3 consecutive time slots would need to be booked. ‘Try shoot’ sessions can be booked by phoning 8889 0406. If booking by phone, a credit card will be required for payment. Alternatively, you are welcome to visit the centre to book and pay over the counter. Due to the differing set up and range requirement for each type of firearm, we do not offer both rifle and pistol try shooting on the same day. Cost for pistol ‘try shooting’ is $85.00 per person and includes; • Expert instruction on how to shoot both safely and accurately • .22 calibre pistol hire • .357 calibre pistol hire • 9mm calibre pistol hire • 15 rounds of ammunition per pistol (45 rounds total) • Targets • Eye and ear protection Cost for rifle ‘try shooting’ is $60.00 per person and includes; • Expert instruction on how to shoot both safely and accurately • .22 calibre rifle hire • 50 rounds of ammunition • Targets • Eye and ear protection Should you decide to book a try shoot session, on the day of your shoot you will be required to show identification (such as a drivers licence), complete a P650 form (see example attached) and a release of liability form. If you answer yes to any of the questions on the P650 form, you will not be able to shoot until authorisation has been given by the NSW Firearms Registry. You do not need to have a firearms licence in order to participate in this program. Please note that minors aged 12-17 must be accompanied by a parent/legal guardian on the day of the shoot and that the parent/guardian will be required to show identification and the minor will be required to show their birth certificate. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact me on 8889 0410. |
