A crucial missing link for residents in North Kellyville is close to completion, with the Smalls Creek bridge set to open shortly.
Hills Shire Mayor Clr Andrew Jefferies visited the site yesterday.
“This 35m long, three metre wide bridge will save residents about 45 minutes walking time,” Mayor Jefferies said.
“The shared path will enable walkers and cyclists to cross Smalls Creek in a much shorter time.”
Mayor Jefferies said that thousands of residents were moving to the North Kellyville area over the next few years.
“This is one of the North West Growth areas where great family homes are being built every day. New communities are rising and we need to make sure they have the infrastructure in place to ensure a top quality of life.”
“This path links in with our network of cycleways which we will continue to add to over the coming years.”
