上了OC班,女儿的感叹就是所有同学都很想做到perfect,都怕出错, 于是杜撰了这么一个perfect girl的短文, 我看了觉得好好笑,分享给大家。
The Perfect Girl
In my class there is a girl sitting behind me who likes being perfect. Her writing is faint so when she rubs out her mistakes, you cannot see the original writing. Every year her school report is perfect -- Straight As. She is good, perfect at everything. Her desk is perfectly neat and her test marks are perfect as well. She is working at the perfect speed, goodness knows how, even though she constantly rubs stuff out. This is what became of her rubber. She goes through them like I go through lollies.
Her pencil has to be perfectly sharp. This is what became of it in 2 weeks only, a new pencil.
She always wear her ponytail perfectly so it doesn't get in her eyes or whip around like crazy when she plays sports. Her dress is perfectly smoothed out with an iron probably everyday. Her shoes are perfectly shined. Every girl in our class envies her posture. She is popular amongst everyone in our grade.
One day, our teacher quoted that "No one can be perfect; everyone is good at something but no one is good at everything." When Christine (the perfect girl) heard this, she was determined to prove the teacher wrong. For 2 years she tried to be perfect, yet she wasn't always happy. When we were out playing, she would be inside working. There was no happiness inside her.
She ended her life without any happiness at all, just with the knowledge that she was not perfect.
( 我不知道她的同学怎么就ended her life了不过她说这只是个story)
Moral of the story? No one is perfect, so Don't Try!
