急！ 盖房付款问题！

要急着跟builder签合同，合同里有这么一项。 I have 5 days to pay to builder from when the claim is given to me. Otherwise they will charge me interest at 15% per annum on what is unpaid after then.
我是觉得5天时间不可能的，太短了，银行不可能在这么短的时间内审理完的。可一般情况是多少天比较合理。 有没有哪位大牛知道这个的。我好找个比较合理的天数去跟builder谈。急！！！

没记得有这一项，builder自己的合同还是HIA的模板合同？
划掉这一项，Initial, 跟他们讲完蛋去。。然后签字

Mine has 7 days term and the late payment interest rate is 20%. 5 days is very limited. Especially for the first payment. I was charged some late payment interest for the first payment. Not our fault just the way how the bank process it. Once the bank receive your invoice and required documents they will need to order a valuer to do valueation and then wait for the valueation report comes back ect...For the rest of the payments 7 days are fine.

PS: I'm banking with NAB Homeside. (Sorry no chinese input)

Thanks mate. We also deal with NAB Homeside, I heard homeside is very tardy for processing the payments etc.. But according to your words, homeside is not that bad. We've already talked to our builder, he agree to allow 30 days for the first payment and 14 days for rest of payments. Hope every thing will be fine with us. Cheers.
